We are the church


I can remember how exhilirating the ride home was on the brand new bike I had just bought. I loved the smell of the new engine when I stopped at home. I made up excuses to ride. I went everywhere and anywhere on the bike because I enjoyed it so much. Even though I enjoyed every minute, I had to ride carefully until I became accustomed to how the bike responded to the road and to my riding style. As I got to know the bike better, I enjoyed the ride even more.

When I gave my life to Christ, it was a similar feeling. Even though I was doing everyday things, it all felt new. I couldn’t wait to tell everyone about what had happened to me and to tell them how good it was. I discovered that there were quite a few people who didn’t share my sentiment…
