No longer hungry for what God has for me

We are the church


Spoon feeding someone is a messy and time consuming process that requires much patience. Children do need encouragement and the right motivation to learn to eat healthy, but I was really surprised to discover how many church-goers who claim to be mature still want to be spoon fed. I was surprised to discover that people can attend church for 30 years and change very little. When things do not go the way they want them to, they get very upset and demand special treatment because they have been around for so long. It suits us to be spoon fed, but we need to grow up and learn to feed ourselves.
